Appearing of God and Jesus Christ

Throughout the new testament, it is spoken of Christ appearing.  In the letter of Paul to Titus, he said that the grace of God that brings salvation had appeared.  Yes!  That spirit of grace had appeared to men that they could live soberly, righteously, and looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Titus  2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

In Hebrews, it was said he would come a second time to those that look for him.  We can ask God to open our eyes of understanding so that we can look for him.

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

My Prayer

Dear God, Please bring to me your spirit of grace that I might live the righteous life you want me to live.  Please open my eyes of understanding.  Help me to understand the appearing of your son, Christ Jesus.  Please help me to thirst after you and to look for the coming of your son.  Amen
