Does casting out wickedness sound like something beyond what you have practiced before? This is accomplished with God’s grace and this process includes taking in peace, love, joy and other good spirit of God. Why not try this practice? Jesus did it AND he taught his apostles to cast out evil. Then he told them to go out and teach others this message. He told them to go and help others by casting out devils.
What he was telling his apostles was to CAST OUT THOUGHTS and FEELINGS (which are spiritual) like lying, fearing, stealing, hating, anger, screaming, or being pressured. These are things within our spiritual body that are corrupt or immoral or unclean. He taught them to cast out thoughts that were bad for them.

My Prayer
Dear God,
Teach me how to live a life full of joy and happiness, free of the torment and the nagging feelings of emotional pain. Help me to trust you to guide me. Help me to listen to your voice in others. Help me to recognize your good spirit within me and help me recognize what is NOT good within me and through your power, I can cast out that which is not good. Please bring me into your arms of strength and help me feel your love. Amen
