Salvation
Have you ever had any of the following questions about salvation?
• What should I do to gain eternal life?
• What is salvation?
• Who can be saved?
• Is salvation a process or an instantaneous event?
These scriptures may help address or provide some explanation to the above questions: In Romans it states God forbid that we should continue to sin. For the wages (pay-off of sin) is death, but we can get rid of sin (death) within us. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. So, an individual can go through a purification process to get rid of sin and get Christ within, which is the gift of eternal life. This is salvation to our souls. God sent his Son, so the world might be saved.
