THE POWER TO EXPERIENCE GOD’S INFLUENCE WITHIN

God sent His son (Jesus) with the power of grace and truth. When we talk about being under grace, we mean being under the influence of God’s grace spirit to cast out some of our thoughts that incite bad emotion (evil thought, such as hate, hurt, anger, and greed). God can help us begin a process of creating stability in our minds. He can help us make better decisions. He can help us reach for better goals.

We can fight thoughts that make us unhappy, but the great news is, we can CAST those bad (unclean) thoughts and emotions away from our minds completely by using God’s POWER of grace! We saw in Ephesians that by grace are you saved through faith! This “spirit of grace” is not merely something lovely or refined or elegant or graceful. This spirit of grace is actually a spirit of POWER. By mixing your faith with this power, you can begin to experience a divine influence within your mind. You can have power to tread on the influence of evil, the devil, the serpent.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

My Prayer

Dear God,
Please bring the spirit of grace within my mind. Please take out these tormenting thoughts and emotions with your power of grace. Please increase my faith so that I can combine a deep faith with your power of grace and become renewed in my mind, heart, soul. Amen
